πŸ₯— The role of nutrition for preschool children is very important for comprehensive development both physically and mentally. Teaching children healthy eating habits that will last through adulthood. The single most influential factor regarding a child’s eating habits is the parents/caregivers’ attitude and actions about food.
πŸ₯— In the age from 0-5 years old, this is the period for increasing independence and exploration of the world and food around them. As adults, we are responsible for:
🍏 When introducing new foods, parents should introduce them separately from other foods. Developing a taste for foods can require up to 9-12 repeated exposures.
🍏 Your child needs to be provided with 3 meals a day and 2 snacks in between.
🍏 Parents should provide the correct portion size and avoiding battles over food and meals. At preschool age, children can decide how much food they need according to their needs. Parents do not worry because the amount of food that young children eat vary widely from day to day and meal to meal.
