How To Improve The Concentration For Your Child?

Building the habit of concentration is so important for children because this will assist them in the learning path and also their future. 

However, every child has a different attention span. On average, children from 2 to 6 years old have a quite short attention span which lasts for around 4 to 18 minutes. This small number can be affected by other factors such as children’s emotions, attitude to the tasks, nearby distractions, etc. 

Therefore, to cultivate a child’s habit of attention, parents can apply the following methods: 

  • Create a new and creative way to do boring tasks 
  • Let the child play with fidgets or puzzles 
  • Remove nearby distractions 
  • Let the child do one task only, do not force them to multitask 
  • Divide the task into smaller ones 
  • Have a short break for the difficult task 
  • Increase physical activities 
  • Build a proper sleeping habit for children
